Aquaforest PO4 Boost 2000ml - phosphorus in liquid form

AF PO4 Boost is a supplement of easily absorbable phosphorus intended for aquarium plants. Phosphorus is a particularly important element for plants. It is a component of many types of proteins and enzymes, as well as building DNA. It is the main accumulator and transporter of energy in processes occurring in the cell. A deficiency of phosphorus manifests itself as reduced growth and development of the plant, as well as leaf discoloration. The appropriate level of phosphates in a planted aquarium should be 0.5-1.5 mg/l. AF PO4 Boost is a preparation that ensures the correct level of phosphates in the aquarium.

Dosing: 10 ml of AF PO4 Boost dissolved in 100 l of water raises the phosphate level by 0.4 mg/l. It is recommended to use it in parallel with AF Micro, AF N Boost, and AF K Boost products.

Absorbents such as zeolite and/or carbon may reduce the effectiveness of the preparation. Phosphate levels should be monitored. Excess can lead to algae growth, especially red algae.
