Eco Plant - Eichhornia Azurea - InVitro small cup
When looking at pictures of this aquarium plant, one might assume that they depict two different plants. Nothing could be further from the truth! This unique plant in its "underwater" version has a completely different leaf shape than its external part. It can be grown as an aquarium plant entirely underwater. In this case, it looks like a mini palm. It also works well in a terrarium, paludarium, and water garden.

Description
About the plant Eichhornia Azurea:
This is a plant with a long stem. According to some reports, to bloom, the plant sometimes stretches up to two meters in length (but only in a pond and in other places where it has such an opportunity), but on average, the plant reaches a length of 40-60 cm. The plant is not particularly demanding. Due to its size, it is practically adored by aquarists who can boast large aquariums.
The underwater leaves of the Eichhornia plant have a different arrangement compared to the above-water part. Underwater, they are elongated and somewhat resemble palm leaves, as if growing the entire height of the plant. The length of the leaves ranges from several to even fifteen centimeters, with a width of about one centimeter. In my aquarium, the leaves usually do not exceed eight centimeters.
The form of the leaves on the surface is completely different (see photos). The leaves are oval, have a long stem, and their dimensions reach up to eight centimeters in length and approximately the same width. The plant above water likes to produce a compact inflorescence.
