Description
About the Rotala Pearl plant:
One of the most beautiful versions of the popular Rotala. It is characterized by very small leaves growing along the stem.
Its unique shape and mix of colors stand out against other plant arrangements in the aquarium. The plant is dedicated for the background.
With a high iron content, it can change the color of the leaves, especially the stem, to dark red.
Rotala sp. Pearl can be difficult to maintain as it requires good quality aquarium lighting and CO2 dosing. It also requires good fertilization with macro and micronutrients.
When planting, clumps should be spaced 2.5 cm apart for faster growth.
Adding CO2 and soft water will significantly accelerate growth. This plant can grow quickly and will require regular trimming when grown under suitable conditions. To maintain the plant, Neo Tabs Plant Fe and Neo Tabs Plant Tabs are sufficient.
