Description
About the plant Rotala Colorata:
Originating from Southeast Asia, Rotala Rotundifolia is one of the most popular aquarium plants. It is characterized by long, delicate stems and thin, round leaves that grow alternately.
The plant does well outside of the aquatic environment. Above the surface, it produces small flowers.
A high iron concentration will cause the plant to turn red. Therefore, it is recommended to use Neo Tabs Plant Fe and Neo Tabs Plant Tabs for proper growth.
The plant can be easily propagated by trimming and inserting new cuttings into the substrate. The substrate should contain a good amount of macro and micro elements.
When planting, the clumps should be spaced 2.5cm apart to grow faster.
The addition of CO2 and soft water will significantly accelerate growth. This plant can grow quickly and will require regular trimming when grown under suitable conditions.
