About the Guinea Plant:
The plant adds charm to any water tank with its colorful appearance. The multi-colored leaves grow in pairs opposite each other on a long and sturdy stem. The plant is not demanding in terms of care. The variety of colors depends on the iron content and regular pruning of the plant.
When planted in clusters of 5 - 10 pieces, it looks incredibly stunning and visually increases the volume of the aquarium.
Ludwigia Repens can also serve as a background plant in nano aquariums.
The plant can be easily propagated by cutting and inserting new cuttings into the substrate. The substrate should contain a good amount of macro and microelements.
To maintain and propagate the plant, Neo Tabs Plant Fe and Neo Tabs Plant st.Long fertilizer tablets are sufficient.
When planting, the clusters should be spaced 2.5 cm apart to encourage faster growth.
The addition of CO2 and soft water will significantly accelerate growth. This plant can grow quickly and will require regular pruning when grown under suitable conditions.
