About the plant Staurogyne Porto Vehlo
A close relative of the popular Staurogyne Repens. It has more colors and color variations than its species sister. It can grow in the foreground or in clusters in the mid-ground. It contrasts well with other popular plants.
Staurogyne does well outside of an aquatic environment. It can be planted in a forest in a jar, terrarium, and paludarium.
The plant can be easily propagated by cutting and inserting new cuttings into the substrate. The substrate should contain a substantial amount of macro and microelements. It is recommended to use fertilizers like Neo Tabs Plant Tabs and Neo Tabs K.
When planting, clumps should be spaced 2.5 cm apart to promote faster growth.
The addition of CO2 and soft water will significantly accelerate growth. This plant can grow quickly and will require regular trimming when grown in suitable conditions.
