Natural white sand sourced from the highest quality deposits. It is free from any contaminants, and due to its calcium carbonate content, it stabilizes the pH of the water. Thanks to the latest technology, the use of AF Bio Sand significantly accelerates the maturation process of the aquarium and allows for faster colonization. 

The bottles included in the set contain laboratory-isolated strains of nitrifying bacteria and a nutrient that facilitates their growth and reproduction. The specialized formula of the set guarantees the closure of the nitrogen cycle and the elimination of harmful chemical compounds from the water much faster than traditional substrates.

The extremely easy way to use AF Bio Sand allows for the quick preparation of sand for use in the aquarium. Due to its extremely wide application, AF Bio Sand will also work perfectly in functioning tanks as a substrate supplement.

The granulation of the sand is 0.5-1.5 mm.

Usage instructions: During transport, dust may settle, which is safe for the aquarium; however, to avoid cloudiness in the water, we recommend rinsing the sand in RODI water before using it in the aquarium. For every 3 liters of salted water, pour in the contents of both bottles, mix thoroughly, add to the bag with sand, and let it sit for 24 hours. To allow for the reproduction of bacteria, do not close the bag. We do not recommend storing in cool places, as this may significantly prolong the bacterial reproduction time. The optimal temperature for sand maturation is around 25-28°C. After 24 hours, the prepared sand is ready for use in the aquarium.
