About the plant 'Amblystegium serpens'
A tropical moss that eagerly grows on moist stones, roots, or other hard or soft substrates. It only requires high humidity (or low humidity - read about this in the paragraph below) and a bit of light to grow lush and green. It will quickly cover a large area in any terrarium. It can grow partially or completely underwater, which is why it is also recommended for paludariums or aquariums.
The moss can withstand a drier climate, and it is even recommended to do so as a so-called reverse hibernation. The moss will then produce well-visible sporophyte capsules, releasing spores over time.
This moss can take on a slightly more reddish color than green.
