Purest calcium - premium class
Unlike most competing products made from shells or salt, Terrario is the purest form of calcium carbonate with a high dose of 97.8%. This product does not contain phosphorus or harmful salts or calcite compounds for reptiles, amphibians, and even mammals, which are often naturally mixed with lead or manganese.

With vitamin D3:
The product is available in a version with vitamin D3 - BOZZA and without vitamin D3 - ZOAN. (look for it in other auctions/offers)

Calcium enriched with vitamin D3 is intended for reptiles and amphibians that do not have access to UVB radiation. It supplements vitamin D3 deficiencies, which directly affects the absorption of calcium in the animal's body.

Micro powder:
This is an important advantage of the product. The preparation is in the form of super fine powder, making it easier to administer and, most importantly, it “sticks” better to feeder insects.

Why do we give calcium to pets?
Calcium is an essential element at every stage of life for every organism. The effects of calcium deficiency during youth are insufficient growth and rickets. Adult individuals also need to receive calcium. Symptoms of calcium deficiency include bone deformities and brittleness, dental damage, disturbances in heart, muscle, and nervous system function, and additionally, lack of calcium contributes to the development of osteoporosis, which involves a gradual loss of bone mass and susceptibility to fractures.

Method of administration:
Administer daily for young, developing individuals. For older animals - three times a week.
Prepare the food and then generously sprinkle it with the powder. An easy way to administer is to place the food in a bag along with the preparation and shake vigorously. For large feeder insects, use tweezers. Place the insect in a jar to cover its body with the preparation.
