Properly selected LED diodes are the primary source of light in modern aquaristics. They have effectively replaced previously used fluorescent lamps, bulbs, and compact fluorescent lamps in the market. Compared to them, they have a number of advantages. They allow for a significant reduction in electricity consumption, as they produce the same amount of light as fluorescent lamps while consuming up to half as much energy. This translates into lower electricity bills, which is beneficial for the aquarist's pocket, as well as environmental protection. They do not need to be replaced often, as they can work for up to 15,000 hours, which again relates to significant savings, environmental protection, and less labor intensity. They do not unnecessarily heat the water in the aquarium, shine directionally only towards the water surface (so there is no need for additional reflectors), and unlike traditional fluorescent lamps, they come with a two-year manufacturer's warranty.

LEDDY TUBE 10W SUNNY D&N LED module is designed for lighting freshwater aquariums. It contains carefully selected LED diodes that provide ideal illumination for the aquarium, guaranteeing excellent living conditions for its inhabitants. It can be installed in Aquael covers and lamps. By using accessory T5/T8 adapters, it can also be installed in any cover or lamp designed for traditional aquarium fluorescent lamps. The accessory DUBLED hanger allows for the addition of an extra module to the lamp or cover, thus increasing the lighting of the tank.

LEDDY TUBE 10W SUNNY D&N LED module is equipped with Day & Night functionality. It operates in three working modes: DAY / DAYBREAK / NIGHT. DAY is the basic and strongest light for illuminating the aquarium during the day. DAYBREAK is a reduced daytime lighting power to 50% plus blue light. It works as the first mode after night and during fish feeding – especially for shy species. NIGHT is a blue glow that allows for unique observation of the aquarium after dark, including fish and animals that are nocturnal. The Day & Night lighting beautifully showcases the aquarium's arrangement both day and night, and also makes the interior of the room where the tank is located more cozy. Switching between DAY / DAYBREAK / NIGHT modes occurs by turning the module off and on again with a switch within no longer than 5 seconds. Switching directly to DAY mode happens after turning off the module for more than 5 seconds and turning it back on.
