What is Retro-Fit LED?
Retro Fit lamps are an excellent product designed for replacing outdated lighting systems based on fluorescent lamps, ballasts, and starters. The use of LED lamps with Power-Led diodes far exceeds the capabilities of a standard fluorescent lamp, providing significantly more light, energy efficiency, longevity, and much faster and more vigorous growth of plants and corals.

Why LED instead of a regular fluorescent lamp?
Diodes offer energy savings of up to 75% compared to fluorescent lamps, and most importantly, they generate much more light directed downwards rather than around like a fluorescent lamp. 
Using Resun Aqua Syncro lamps significantly reduces electricity consumption, which is quickly felt by the user. 
An additional excellent advantage of Retro Fit GTR lamps is their longevity. The lighting effectively shines for up to 12 years without changing its parameters. Comparing this advantage to traditional T5 fluorescent lamps, which need to be replaced every 6 - 9 months, it is easy to see that using LED lighting is extremely economical and satisfying. 
It is also worth mentioning that LED lighting does not generate heat, which is significant during the warm season.

Why is Retro-Fit by Resun Aqua Syncro better than other similar lamps?
There are many models of Retro Fit lamps on the market; however, only the lamps from Resun Aqua Syncro are designed specifically to replace a given fluorescent lamp. The lighting is designed to emit light along the entire length (from socket to socket), whereas in other Retro Fit lamps, the light is available only over part of the length of the replaced fluorescent lamp. 
Additionally, only the Resun Aqua Syncro lamp is housed inside a glass tube made of the highest waterproof and clarity glass. This solution does not block the flow of light and moreover, does not become cloudy over time like the plastic tubes of competing Retro Fits. 

How to install the lamp?
The lamp comes with special adapters that allow for easy and quick installation in T5 fixtures that previously held a fluorescent lamp.

Is the ballast and the entire power supply from the cover necessary?
The product has its own power supply system with a switch located on the cable.
The lamp will not use the old electrical system that powered the fluorescent lamp. This system can be dismantled.

The Retro Fit series from Resun Aqua Syncro comes in one color variant, DAY SUNNY, and is produced in lengths that allow for the replacement of T5 fluorescent lamps of 24W, 39W, and 54W. 

DAY SUNNY color is based on Power-LED RGB technology. The white light emitted by the lamp is the result of mixing colors with color temperatures of 6500K, 7500K, and 10000K in proportions of 50%, 20%, and 30%. This color mixture excellently influences the photosynthesis of plants, significantly accelerating their lush growth and enhancing coloration. The color beautifully illuminates the tank, giving fish and plants strong, vibrant colors. The emitted light penetrates deeply into the water column. The DAY SUNNY color perfectly replaces the popular Aquastar fluorescent lamp and the daylight of 865 fluorescent lamps.
