Retro Fit GTR lamps are an excellent product designed to replace outdated lighting systems based on fluorescent tubes. The use of LED lamps with High-Power-LED diodes significantly advances into the future compared to regular fluorescent bulbs, providing much more light, energy efficiency, longevity, and a much faster and lush growth of plants and corals.
The diodes ensure energy savings of up to 75% compared to fluorescent tubes, and most importantly, they generate much more light directed downwards, rather than around like a fluorescent bulb.
Using Resun Aqua Syncro lamps significantly reduces electricity consumption, which is quickly felt by the user.
Another excellent advantage of Retro Fit GTR lamps is their longevity. The lighting effectively shines for up to 12 years without changing its parameters. Comparing this advantage to traditional T8 fluorescent tubes, which need to be replaced every 6 to 9 months, it is easy to see that using LED lighting is entirely economical and satisfying.
It is also worth mentioning that LED lighting does not generate heat, which is significant during warm seasons.
There are many models of Retro Fit lamps on the market; however, only lamps from the manufacturer Resun Aqua Syncro are produced with the intention of replacing a specific fluorescent tube. The lighting is designed so that light is emitted along the entire length (from socket to socket), whereas in the case of other Retro Fit lamps, light was available only along part of the length of the replaced fluorescent tube.
Additionally, only the Resun Aqua Syncro lamp is enclosed within a glass tube made of the highest waterproof and transparent glass. This solution does not block the flow of light and moreover does not become cloudy over time like the plastic tubes of competing Retro Fits.
The lamp comes with special adapters that allow for easy and quick installation in T8 sockets of the old fluorescent tube. The product has its own power supply system with a switch located on the cable. The lamp will not use the old electrical system that serviced the fluorescent bulb.
The Retro Fit GTR series by Resun Aqua Syncro differs primarily in greater power and stronger light compared to the Retro Fit series by Resun Aqua Syncro. It comes in several color variations (Super Plant, Super Malawi, Super Sunny) and is produced in lengths that allow for the replacement of T8 fluorescent tubes with powers of 15W, 18W, 30W, and 36W.
The SUPER SUNNY color is based on High-Power-LED RGB technology. The emitted white light from the lamp results from mixing colors with color temperatures of 6500K and 10000K in a 50% to 50% ratio. This mixture of colors excellently influences the photosynthesis of plants, significantly accelerating their lush growth and enhancing coloration. The color perfectly illuminates the tank, giving fish and plants strong, vibrant colors. The emitted light penetrates deep into the water column. The SUPER SUNNY color excellently replaces the popular Aquastar fluorescent tube and the daylight of 865 fluorescent tubes.
