Retro Fit GTR lamps are an excellent product designed for replacing outdated fluorescent lighting systems. The use of LED lamps with High-Power-LED diodes far surpasses traditional fluorescent lamps, providing significantly more light, energy efficiency, longevity, and much faster and lush growth of plants and corals.
The diodes ensure energy savings of up to 75% compared to fluorescent lamps, and most importantly, they generate much more light that is directed downwards rather than around like a fluorescent lamp. Using Resun Aqua Syncro lamps significantly reduces power consumption, which users quickly notice.
An additional great advantage of the Retro Fit GTR lamps is their longevity. The lighting effectively lasts up to 12 years without changing its parameters. Comparing this advantage to traditional T8 fluorescent lamps, which need to be replaced every 6 to 9 months, it's easy to see that using LED lighting is undoubtedly economical and satisfactory.
It is also worth mentioning that LED lighting does not generate heat, which is significant during the warm season.
There are many models of Retro Fit lamps on the market; however, only lamps from the manufacturer Resun Aqua Syncro are designed to replace a specific fluorescent lamp. The lighting is designed so that light is emitted along the entire length (from socket to socket), while in other Retro Fit lamps, light was only available over part of the length of the replaced fluorescent lamp.
Additionally, only Resun Aqua Syncro lamps are housed inside a glass tube made of the highest waterproof and transparency standards. This solution does not block light flow and moreover does not become cloudy over time like the plastic tubes of competing Retro Fits.
The lamp has special adapters that allow for easy and quick installation in T8 sockets from the old fluorescent lamp. The product has its own power supply system with a switch located on the cable. The lamp will not use the old electrical system that powered the fluorescent lamp.
The Retro Fit GTR series from Resun Aqua Syncro differs primarily in higher power and stronger light from the Retro Fit series from Resun Aqua Syncro. It comes in several color variants (Super Plant, Super Malawi, Super Sunny) and is produced in lengths suitable for replacing T8 fluorescent lamps of 15W, 18W, 30W, and 36W.
SUPER MALAWI color is based on High-Power-LED RGB technology. The blue-white light emitted by the lamp results from diodes with color temperatures of 10000K and 20000K in a ratio of 4 to 1. This color mixture excellently enhances the brightness of the tank, giving a pleasant bluish light that highlights the colors of fish and plants.
The lamp is dedicated to Malawi, Tanganyika, and marine tanks. It perfectly replaces the popular Aquastar, Actinic, and Marine fluorescent lamps.
