Aquael LEDDY TUBE - LED lighting 17W ACTINIC 2.0
LED replacement for fluorescent lamps for aquariums of the LEDDY TUBE ACTINIC 2.0. The model is equipped with appropriately arranged modern LED diodes that emit light in actinic color and a total power of 17W. The diodes are placed on an aluminum profile, in a round glass tube, which also serves as the lamp shade, allowing almost 100% of the light to pass through.

Description
If you want to create ideal conditions for the inhabitants of your marine reef aquarium, you must remember about lighting. In such an aquarium, it is necessary to use two types of light with different color temperatures - white and actinic.
White light
It is the main type used in reef aquaristics. It provides the energy needed for photosynthesis for zooxanthellae and reproduces the beautiful colors of marine animals.
Actinic light
The second type of light, essential in a reef aquarium, is actinic light. It is intensely blue to slightly violet and has a color temperature of 16000-24000 K. It helps to mimic the effect of sunrise and sunset, as well as contributes to better coloration of fish, corals, and other sessile invertebrates. It can also enhance the fluorescence effect, which gives the animals an exceptionally attractive appearance.
LEDDY TUBE 17W ACTINIC
The LED module provides ideal illumination for the reef aquarium, thanks to LED diodes emitting actinic light. It can be installed in Aquael covers and lamps as well as in lamps dedicated for traditional aquarium fluorescent lights using accessory T5/T8 adapters.
The ACTINIC 2.0 version has the same construction as the RETRO Fit lamps, except that it does not include adapters in the package. It is a replacement for 17W Actinic RETRO Fit lamps.
