Aquael LEDDY TUBE - LED lighting 14W ACTINIC 2.0

If you want to create ideal conditions for the inhabitants of your marine reef aquarium, you must remember about lighting. In such an aquarium, it is necessary to use two types of light with different color temperatures - white and actinic.

White Light
It is the main type used in reef aquaristics. It provides the energy needed for photosynthesis for zooxanthellae and reproduces the beautiful colors of marine animals.

Actinic Light
The second type of light, essential in a reef aquarium, is actinic light. It is intensely blue to slightly purple and has a color temperature of 16000-24000 K. It helps to imitate the effect of sunrise and sunset, as well as contributes to better coloration of fish, corals, and other sessile invertebrates. It can also enhance the effect of fluorescence, which gives the animals an exceptionally attractive appearance.

LEDDY TUBE 14W ACTINIC
The LED module provides ideal illumination for the reef aquarium, thanks to LED diodes emitting actinic light. It can be installed in Aquael covers and lamps, as well as in lamps dedicated to traditional aquarium fluorescent lights using accessory T5/T8 adapters.

The ACTINIC 2.0 version has the same construction as the RETRO Fit lamps, with the difference that it does not include adapters in the package. It is a replacement for 14W Actinic type RETRO Fit lamps.
