Aquael LEDDY TUBE - LED lighting 10W ACTINIC 2.0

If you want to create the ideal conditions for the inhabitants of your marine reef aquarium, you must remember about the lighting. In such an aquarium, it is necessary to use two types of light with different color temperatures - white and actinic.

White Light
It is the main type used in reef aquaristics. It provides the energy needed for photosynthesis for zooxanthellae and reproduces the beautiful colors of marine animals.

Actinic Light
The second type of light, essential in a reef aquarium, is actinic light. It is intensely blue to slightly violet and has a color temperature of 16000-24000 K. It helps to imitate the effect of sunrise and sunset, and also contributes to better coloration of fish, corals, and other sessile invertebrates. It may also enhance the fluorescence effect, adding an exceptionally attractive appearance to the animals.

LEDDY TUBE 10W ACTINIC
The LED module provides ideal illumination for the reef aquarium, thanks to LED diodes emitting actinic light. It can be installed in Aquael covers and lamps, as well as in lamps dedicated to traditional aquarium fluorescent lamps using accessory T5/T8 adapters.

The ACTINIC 2.0 version has the same construction as the RETRO Fit lamps, with the difference that it does not include adapters in the package. It is a replacement for 10W Actinic type RETRO Fit lamps.
