Retro Fit GTR lamps are an excellent product designed for replacing outdated lighting systems based on fluorescent tubes. The use of LED lamps with High-Power-LED diodes is a significant step forward compared to ordinary fluorescent lamps, providing much more light, energy efficiency, longevity, and a much faster and more abundant growth of plants and corals.
The diodes ensure energy savings of up to 75% compared to fluorescent lamps, and most importantly, they generate much more light directed downward, rather than around as with fluorescent lamps.
Using Resun Aqua Syncro lamps significantly reduces electricity consumption, which is quickly felt by the user.
Another excellent advantage of the Retro Fit GTR lamps is their longevity. The lighting effectively shines for up to 12 years without changing its parameters. Comparing this advantage to traditional T8 fluorescent lamps, which need to be replaced every 6 to 9 months, it is easy to see that using LED lighting is entirely economical and satisfying.
It is also worth mentioning that LED lighting does not generate heat, which is significant during the warm season.
There are many models of Retro Fit lamps on the market; however, only the lamps from Resun Aqua Syncro are made with the intention of replacing a specific fluorescent lamp. The lighting is designed so that the light is emitted along the entire length (from socket to socket), while in the case of other Retro Fit lamps, the light was only available over part of the length of the replaced fluorescent lamp.
Additionally, only the Resun Aqua Syncro lamp is placed inside a glass tube made of the highest waterproof and transparent glass. This solution does not block the flow of light and, moreover, does not become cloudy over time like the plastic tubes of competing Retro Fits.
The lamp has special adapters that allow for easy and quick installation in T8 sockets of the old fluorescent lamp. The product has its own power supply system with a switch located on the cable. The lamp will not use the old electrical system that powered the fluorescent lamp.
The Retro Fit GTR series from Resun Aqua Syncro differs primarily in greater power and stronger light compared to the Retro Fit series from Resun Aqua Syncro. It comes in several color variations (Super Plant, Super Malawi, Super Sunny) and is produced in lengths that allow for the replacement of T8 fluorescent lamps of 15W, 18W, 30W, and 36W.
SUPER MALAWI color is based on High-Power-LED RGB technology. The blue-white light emitted by the lamp results from diodes with a color temperature of 10000K and 20000K in a ratio of 4 to 1. This color mixture excellently enhances the brightness of the tank, providing a pleasant bluish light that highlights the colors of fish and plants.
The lamp is dedicated to Malawi, Tanganyika, and marine tanks. It perfectly replaces the popular Aquastar, Actinic, and Marine fluorescent lamps.
