Retro Fit GTR lamps are an excellent product designed to replace outdated lighting systems based on fluorescent lamps. The use of LED lamps with High-Power-Led diodes extends far into the future compared to regular fluorescent lamps, providing significantly more light, energy efficiency, longevity, and much faster and lush growth of plants and corals.
The diodes ensure energy savings of up to 75% compared to fluorescent lamps, and most importantly, they generate much more light directed downwards, rather than around like a fluorescent lamp.
Using Resun Aqua Syncro lamps significantly reduces electricity consumption, which is quickly felt by the user.
An additional excellent advantage of the Retro Fit GTR lamps is their longevity. The lighting effectively shines for up to 12 years without changing its parameters. Compared to traditional T8 fluorescent lamps, which need to be replaced every 6-9 months, it's easy to see that using LED lighting is exceptionally cost-effective and satisfying.
It's also worth mentioning that LED lighting does not generate heat, which is significant during the warm season.
There are many models of Retro Fit lamps on the market; however, only the lamps from the manufacturer Resun Aqua Syncro are designed specifically to replace a given fluorescent lamp. The lighting is designed to emit light along the entire length (from end to end), whereas other Retro Fit lamps only provide light over part of the length of the replaced fluorescent lamp.
Additionally, only the Resun Aqua Syncro lamp is housed inside a glass tube made of the highest waterproof and clarity glass. This solution does not block the flow of light and, moreover, does not become cloudy over time like the plastic tubes of competing Retro Fits.
The lamp comes with special adapters that allow for easy and quick installation in T8 sockets of the old fluorescent lamp. The product has its own power supply system with a switch located on the cable. The lamp will not use the old electrical system that powered the fluorescent lamp.
The Retro Fit GTR series from Resun Aqua Syncro differs primarily in greater power and stronger light compared to the Retro Fit series from Resun Aqua Syncro. It comes in several color variants (Super Plant, Super Malawi, Super Sunny) and is produced in lengths that allow for the replacement of T8 fluorescent lamps with powers of 10W, 15W, 18W, 30W, and 36W.
SUPER PLANT color is based on High-Power-LED RGB technology. The reddish-white light emitted by the lamp is the result of mixing colors with color temperatures of 6500K, 7500K, and 8500K in proportions of 25% to 25% to 50%. This color mixture excellently influences the photosynthesis of plants, significantly accelerating their lush growth and enhancing coloration. The SUPER PLANT color perfectly replaces the popular Grolux fluorescent lamp and the daylight of 865 fluorescent lamps.
