LEDDY TUBE – economical and versatile!
Properly selected LED diodes are the primary light source in modern aquaristics. They have effectively replaced previously used fluorescent lamps, light bulbs, and compact fluorescent lamps. Compared to them, they have a number of advantages. They allow for significant reduction in electricity consumption, as they produce the same amount of light as fluorescent lamps but consume up to half as much power. This translates to lower electricity bills, which is beneficial for the aquarist's pocket, as well as better protection for the natural environment. They do not need to be replaced frequently, as they can last up to 15,000 hours, which again relates to significant savings, environmental protection, and less labor. They also do not unnecessarily heat the water in the aquarium and shine directionally only towards the water surface (so additional reflectors are not needed). Furthermore, unlike traditional fluorescent lamps, they come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.

LEDDY TUBE 17W MARINE D&N LED module is designed for lighting marine reef tanks. It contains carefully selected LED diodes that emit strong white light with a temperature of 10,000 K, ideal for the growth of corals. It provides excellent illumination for the aquarium, ensuring perfect living conditions for its inhabitants. It can be installed in Aquael covers and lamps. By using accessory T5/T8 adapters, it can also be installed in any cover or lamp designed for traditional aquarium fluorescent lamps. The accessory DUBLED hanger allows the addition of an extra module to the lamp or cover, thus increasing the lighting of the tank.

LEDDY TUBE 17W MARINE D&N module is equipped with Day & Night functionality. It operates in three modes: DAY / DAYBREAK / NIGHT. DAY is the basic and strongest light for illuminating the aquarium during the day. DAYBREAK reduces the daylight illumination power to 50% plus blue light. It is useful as the first mode after night and during feeding fish – especially if you have skittish species. NIGHT provides a blue glow that allows for unique observation of the aquarium after dark, including fish and nocturnal animals. The Day & Night lighting beautifully highlights the aquarium's arrangement both during the day and at night, making the interior of the room housing the tank cozier. The mode change from DAY / DAYBREAK / NIGHT occurs by turning the module off and on with the switch within no longer than 5 seconds. Switching directly to DAY mode takes place after turning off the module for more than 5 seconds and then turning it back on.
