What are the advantages of corner filter installation?
Placing the filter in the corner of the aquarium positively affects the aesthetics of the tank. The filter becomes almost unnoticeable, and it is easy to hide it behind plants, roots, or other decorative elements. Corner installation has allowed for a change in its structural design, enhancing its advantages. Thanks to this design, a much larger filtration capacity of the media cup has been achieved, significantly improving the quality of filtration. The most important thing is that despite the increased capacity, the filter takes up less space than its typical counterparts.

Rain bar in the JP-094 filter:
The filter is equipped with a rain bar, which has two very important advantages for the aquarist. First of all, the rain bar provides adequate aeration, and thus oxygenation of the aquarium. Therefore, there is no need to use a traditional aerator known as a bubbler or an air pump. The second important feature of the rain bar is the even and gentle distribution of water in the aquarium. It should be remembered that most fish prefer slower water flow, and this is exactly the flow emitted by the rain bar. At the same time, there is no risk of creating too strong a current in the aquarium, commonly referred to as a whirlpool or washing machine effect.


Flow adjustment:
The filter is equipped with a clever and smooth flow adjustment. This allows for matching the filter's power to the aquarium's capacity. The adjustment knob is located at the very top of the device, which means there is no need to put hands in the water or disassemble the filter in case of needing to change the pump's power.

The ability to adjust the flow allows the filter to be adapted for aquariums from 50l to 112l.

Water outlet direction:
The rain bar along with the entire water outlet can be adjusted within a 90-degree angle range. Therefore, the filter can be installed in any corner of the aquarium, and the water outlet can cover the area from one wall to the other of the tank.

Motor and rotor:
The filter from the manufacturer SunSun is built on years of experience. It is characterized by reliability and efficient operation, as well as high energy efficiency. The rotor, being the heart of the device, is resistant to high pressure of the pumped water and is equipped with a shaft made of sintered stainless steel with titanium, allowing the pump to operate in saltwater.
