Qanvee Bio-Sponge filter L

The filter is dedicated to shrimp tanks and other nano-tanks. It is powered by an air pump, which means there is no need to connect another power-hungry pump that only generates costs and often creates too much water movement in the tank. The bubbles from the air pump create the appropriate water movement in the filter and additionally aerate it.

The filter has initial mechanical filtration in the form of a large sponge with a dense structure. A special bio-chemical material was used to produce the sponge, ensuring excellent mechanical and chemical filtration.
The next stage of filtration can be biological filtration using, for example, ceramics. The filter has specially designed containers that allow for the adaptation of any bio-media or chemical media.

The filter has an adjustable outlet length, mounting suction cups, and a holder for the air pump hose.
The entire unit is made from environmentally friendly plastic materials used in the food industry.

The Qanvee filter will also work perfectly as a pre-filter placed on the inlet hose to the filter. This application reduces the frequency of periodic checks of contamination levels and positively affects mechanical and biological filtration without significantly reducing flow.
