Aquael PAT-Mini 400l/h

AQUAEL PAT MINI – a miniature turbine filter PAT MINI designed for small freshwater aquariums. This device consists of a tiny head and a carefully selected filtration sponge. Thanks to the use of innovative design solutions, this head has a maximum efficiency of up to 400 l/h, which is as much as a typical medium-sized turbine aquarium filter. And all this with an energy consumption of no more than 4 W. As a result, PAT MINI provides efficient filtration even in a 120-liter tank. However, will it not create excessive "washing machine" effects in a much smaller aquarium? There's no need to worry, as there is a performance control switch on the front of the head that allows you to adjust this parameter to meet the needs of every aquarist. The filter also has a directional end which allows limiting the water current in the aquarium by directing it, for example, to the tank wall. It is also equipped with an aerating tube connected to the outlet nozzle, which allows for effective and efficient oxygenation of the water in the tank.

The PAT MINI filter sponge effectively performs mechanical filtration in the aquarium, capturing even the smallest visible impurities from the water. Moreover, it provides an ideal substrate for the colonization of beneficial nitrifying bacteria that oxidize toxic ammonia and nitrates for fish. Maintenance of the sponge is very simple and takes just a few seconds. This ensures continuous operation of the filter and guarantees that the inhabitants of our aquarium will swim in crystal clear and toxin-free water.

Installing the device is very simple thanks to the strong suction cup handle equipped with an additional functional hanger that allows the filter to be hung on the edge of the aquarium glass.

The PAT MINI filter can be used with the AQUAEL rain shower and the AQUAEL MINI UV water sterilizer. Replaceable sponge cartridges are also available, both standard and in the CARBOMAX version (saturated with activated carbon for removing chemical impurities and discolorations from the water) and PHOSMAX (for removing phosphates from the water, which effectively limits algae growth).
