Substrate Filtration:
Substrate filters use aquarium substrate as filter media. The filter draws water from the tank, which passes through a layer of sand, active substrate, or a natural mixture, e.g., ECO PLANT. During this process, both organic and inorganic contaminants are drawn into the roots of the plants, helping to nourish them. The substrate is continuously cleaned of all contaminants such as fish waste or plant residues.

Assembling the filter like LEGO bricks:
The filter grid consists of individual elements measuring 14x7cm. You can freely connect them together, thus adjusting the dimensions of the substrate filter to your aquarium. After assembling, you can cut off any excess connectors to achieve precise dimensions. NOTE! Individual blocks can also be connected perpendicularly to each other!

How is it powered?
Standardly, the set includes hoses with air stones. These accessories are placed in the water outlet tube. By connecting an aerator (the aerator is not part of the set), you force water movement.

Water outlets:
This model has two outlets. Each of them is telescopic - you can adjust its height from 30 to 50cm. The end can be freely rotated 360 degrees.
