Why does free water flow provide better filtration?
In our filter, water flows through the filter media freely, thanks to gravity, rather than under direct pressure from the water pump. This natural, free flow allows for longer contact of water with filter media, significantly increasing the effectiveness of biological and chemical filtration. Unlike systems that force water flow under pressure, free flow promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria and more thorough removal of impurities. As a result, the water in your aquarium-terrarium will not only be clean but also biologically healthy and ideally suited to the needs of turtles and amphibians.

The filter chamber has a capacity of up to 650ml!
There are two baskets for filter media where you will find filter fleece and sponge. There is still plenty of space for other inserts, if needed for your aquarium.
