Why does free water flow provide better filtration?
In our filter, water flows through the filter media freely, thanks to gravity, rather than under direct pressure from the water pump. This natural, free flow allows for longer contact of the water with the filter media, significantly increasing the efficiency of biological and chemical filtration. Unlike systems that force water flow under pressure, free drainage promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria and more thorough removal of impurities. As a result, the water in your aqua-terrarium will be not only clean but also biologically healthy and perfectly suited to the needs of turtles and amphibians.

The filter chamber capacity is as much as 325ml!
There is one basket for filter media in which you will find filter fleece. There is still plenty of space for other inserts if needed by your aquarium.
