Why does free water flow mean better filtration?
In our filter, water flows through the filter media freely, thanks to gravity, rather than under direct pressure from the water pump. This natural, free flow allows for longer contact time between the water and the filter media, significantly increasing the efficiency of biological and chemical filtration. Unlike systems that force water flow under pressure, free drainage promotes the development of beneficial bacteria and more effective removal of contaminants. As a result, the water in your aqua-terrarium will be not only clean but also biologically healthy and perfectly suited to the needs of turtles and amphibians.

The filter chamber has a capacity of up to 325ml!
There is one basket for filter media in which you will find filter fleece. There is still plenty of space for other inserts, if needed by your aquarium.
