SANDEZIA DRY DISINFECTION™ is a preparation for disinfecting livestock buildings. The product effectively combats bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi. It destroys the larval stages of flies and other insects, significantly reducing their numbers. SANDEZIA works particularly well in damp environments. It intensively dries wet bedding, preventing the conversion of urea into ammonia and the release of harmful gases. The preparation maintains a low pH, preventing the growth of pathogenic microorganisms. It reduces the incidence of diseases in the herd, limits the use of antibiotics, and reduces treatment costs, while also supporting treatment in case of infection. Due to its high concentration of mineral ingredients, the preparation is economical and very efficient.

How does dry disinfection work?
Currently, most dry disinfection preparations are based on the compound chloramine, which decomposes upon contact with water, releasing hypochlorite. This compound has antioxidant and biocidal properties. Bacteria, viruses, as well as fly larvae and parasite eggs are eliminated. For greater effectiveness of the product, it is recommended to apply the powder to damp areas.

How to use the dry disinfection preparation?
Dry disinfection should be applied in a humid environment. The preparation can be used in both litter and non-litter animal farming systems. The use of dry disinfection involves evenly distributing the powder over the surface of the substrate of the facility. The dosage of the preparation depends on the manufacturer's instructions on the product label. It typically ranges from 50 to 100 g/m2. Remember that at the beginning of using the preparation, disinfection should be performed more frequently – at least 3 times a week. In the later period, the product application is done 1-2 times a week.
