Description
A set of drop tests for determining the levels of essential parameters such as Ca, KH, and Mg.
Aquaforest TestPro Calcium is designed for the rapid measurement of calcium concentration in a marine aquarium. Calcium plays a crucial role in biological processes, ensuring balanced growth and development of organisms. In a marine aquarium, it is very important to constantly monitor the levels of calcium, magnesium, and carbonate hardness (also known as alkalinity). The calcium concentration in natural seawater can range from 400 to 450 mg/l (ppm). The test is sufficient for 55-65 measurements of calcium concentration in the aquarium.
Aquaforest TestPro Alkalinity is designed for the rapid measurement of carbonate hardness, also known as alkalinity, in a marine aquarium. In a marine aquarium, it is very important to constantly monitor the levels of calcium, magnesium, and carbonate hardness (also known as alkalinity). The recommended KH level in a marine aquarium is 6.5 – 8.0 dKH. The test is sufficient for 78-100 measurements of carbonate hardness in the aquarium.
Aquaforest TestPro Magnesium is designed for the rapid measurement of magnesium concentration in a marine aquarium. Magnesium plays a crucial role in biological processes, participating in the formation of the skeletons of hard corals and providing buffering capacity while preventing excessive precipitation of calcium and bicarbonates in the water. In a marine aquarium, it is very important to constantly monitor the levels of calcium, magnesium, and carbonate hardness. The magnesium concentration in natural seawater can range from 1260 to 1460 mg/l (ppm). The test is sufficient for 55-60 measurements of magnesium concentration in the aquarium, within the range specified in the table.
