This series of reactors is the source of the popular coral food Schone Korallen MAORI - one of the best-selling live phytoplankton in 2021.
The set allows you to cultivate and propagate phytoplankton in your own home. Each cultivation ends in complete success, and you have plenty of high-quality food for your corals.

Lighting:
The reactor is standardly equipped with a 12W lighting strip. The used semaphore diodes emit the appropriate light color for optimal phytoplankton growth. The lamp is equipped with an ON/OFF switch.

Connections for hoses and more:
In the upper cover, there are:
- a connector for the air pump hose
- a connector with a ball valve for topping up evaporated water
- a flap for adding food for phytoplankton

Food drain:
This is another convenience. Right below the cultivation chamber is a connector with a ball valve for draining the cultivated food. This makes it easy and quick to empty the tank.

How to start cultivation?
1) To start cultivation, equip the reactor with an air pump (preferably with adjustable power) and a hose of appropriate length
2) prepare water with a salinity level of 35ppt/1.026 - RO water is best salted with Blue Treasure Reef sea salt
3) The optimal temperature is 25°C, but it is important not to let it drop below 20°C
4) Aeration 24h/day, lighting 12/12h
5) To start, you need phytoplankton starter and fertilizers. Use according to the manufacturer's recommendations
