How to install it? Since it floats, won't it "escape"?
Don't worry. You can anchor the fountain. The set includes two anchors and two long nylon ropes. With their help, you can secure the fountain so that it is "moored" in the middle of the pond and does not rotate.

Why floating?
It's simple. Thanks to this simple function, the water pump and fountain will always be on the surface. Thus, you can be sure that the fountain can operate with maximum efficiency. 

Water pump, tolerance for impurities, and filter basket.
The pump is hidden in a basket designed to catch any large solid particles (floating sticks, stones, etc.) that could block the impeller. Everything that can pass through the basket will be pumped out and expelled with the fountain, as it tolerates such impurities. Of course, murky or dirty water is not a problem for the pump either. 

What if the impeller gets blocked?
The pump will automatically cut off the power supply to avoid burning out the motor or electrical system.
