Repti-Zoo Halogen heating lamp with UVA 75W

Specially designed, compact halogen lamp, tailored for terrarium breeding. It combines heat emission, light, and UVA radiation. The range of emitted light beams, including UV, has been selected to reflect natural sunlight (wavelengths 320-400nm). Additionally, the visible light mimics natural daylight.

The halogen construction of the lamp allows for significantly greater heating power with the same power consumption and emission of visible light waves as in ordinary bulbs. This solution allows for proper heating of the terrarium while saving considerable amounts of electricity. The heat emission is 75% to 50% greater than that of regular bulbs, and the halogen also has a much longer lifespan.

The thick, light-tight walls of the halogen allow for 100% power direction in one direction, creating temperature differences in various spots, giving reptiles the option to choose. The front glass diffuses light, creating a warm glow that can be easily directed in any direction.

UV radiation stimulates the synthesis of vitamin D3, enhances appetite, helps recognize the surroundings and sexual partners, aids in food searching, and increases the vitality and activity of the animal.

Birds and reptiles, unlike humans, have appropriate receptors to perceive the ultraviolet range. The lack of UV radiation in the lighting provided for our charges is often underestimated by caregivers because, as mentioned, humans cannot see this light and focus on lighting within the visible spectrum for themselves.
