Why use a heating cable in a terrarium?
The silicone heating cable is used to warm surfaces in the terrarium, such as the substrate, rocks, or tree bark. It is particularly useful for breeding reptiles, amphibians, or insects that require specific temperatures to maintain health and develop properly.

Silicone insulation:
The heating part of the cable (450cm) is covered with a silicone coating. This provides excellent flexibility, resistance to ultra-high temperatures, and complete water resistance. IP66
It is so water-resistant that you can even wash it under a very strong stream of water.

The power supply part is covered with PVC, like any other cable.

Included suction cups:
It's nice of the manufacturer to include them. They will certainly make it easier for you to mount the cable on the walls of the terrarium or other smooth surfaces.
