- Arena can be assembled without the use of mounting screws, allowing for quick disassembly for cleaning, for example. Accidental opening, e.g., due to a bump on the formicarium, is prevented by mounting rubber bands. The arena features a removable flap that facilitates quick feeding and maintenance work. The ventilation holes located in the cover maintain an appropriate constant humidity inside the enclosure. 

Inside the arena, there is an opening intended for connecting arenas to create a network of the ant nest or to allow for potential relocation. The 10mm diameter opening is secured with a removable cap. 

- The Lost Tunnels nest features a specially developed and patented system of chambers and corridors. Seven chambers are placed in a way that naturally creates different humidity levels in various chambers. Four chambers with increased humidity are located closest to the moisturizing foam. Each of the three remaining chambers has a different humidity level compared to each other and to the four humid chambers.

The different humidity levels in the chambers promote the development of ant colonies, which, taking advantage of the diverse conditions, will use the individual chambers to separately prepare them for food storage, create an incubator chamber, and establish a royal chamber. 

In contrast to other formicarium products, Ant Expert has high corridors and chambers. This allows for the breeding of larger ants.
