The universal UFP system from Jebao combines everything needed to run a healthy, algae-free small to medium pond.
Designed as a single integrated unit with a single power cable, it allows for much easier installation compared to standard pond filtration, which consists of multiple components. It includes a pump, biological and mechanical filter, UV-C lamp, and fountain outlet. The compact design allows the filter to be placed inside the pond.
The UFP-2000 features a built-in 11W UVC lamp that effectively prevents the growth of algae, fungi, and diseases. The lamp comes with a standard plug, making it easy to replace if necessary.
Mechanical filtration is guaranteed by the sponge located just under the filter cover. The water is pre-filtered before it flows into specialized compartments for filter media. The compartments are filled with biological media; ceramic and bio-balls responsible for breaking down harmful compounds present in the water. The media can be removed for cleaning or replaced with other or new ones.
The filter housing has a perforated cover that traps larger debris, such as leaves.
Access to the interior of the filter is extremely easy thanks to four clips located on opposite sides of the device.
The UFP filtering set has a high-quality fountain outlet. It comes with four different nozzles responsible for the final shape of the fountain. The outlet nozzle has an additional outlet for, e.g., a waterfall. Both the additional outlet and the fountain have flow regulation, allowing for smooth and precise adjustment of the water flow.
The heart of the filtering set is a low power consumption pump. The energy-efficient pump is the result of years of experience from Jecod/Jebao. It is characterized by durability, the mentioned energy efficiency, and quiet operation. The pump has a series of protections that prevent it from burning out. These protections respond to a lack of water and rotor blockage, shutting off the pump's operation. In such events, the protections save the pump from failure.
