The universal UFP system from Jebao combines everything needed to start a healthy, algae-free small to medium pond.
Designed as a single integrated unit with a single power cable, it allows for much easier installation compared to standard pond filtration, which consists of multiple components. It includes a pump, biological and mechanical filter, UV-C lamp, and fountain outlet. Its compact design allows for the filter to be placed inside the pond.
The UFP-1000 features a built-in 9W UVC lamp that effectively prevents the growth of algae, fungi, and diseases. The lamp has a standard plug, making it easy to replace if necessary.
Mechanical filtration is guaranteed by the sponge located just under the filter cover. The water is pre-cleaned and then directed to special compartments for filter media. The compartments are filled with biological inserts; ceramics, and bio-balls responsible for breaking down hazardous compounds in the water. The inserts can be removed for cleaning or replaced with others or new ones.
The filter housing has a perforated cover that traps larger debris, such as leaves.
Access to the inside of the filter is extremely easy thanks to four clips placed on opposite sides of the device.
The UFP filtration set features a high-quality fountain outlet. It has four different nozzles responsible for the final shape of the fountain. The outlet nozzle has an additional outlet for, e.g., a waterfall. Both the additional outlet and the fountain have flow regulation, allowing for smooth and precise adjustment of the amount of water supplied.
The heart of the filtration set is a low-power consumption pump. The energy-efficient pump is a result of many years of experience from Jecod/Jebao. It is characterized by durability, mentioned energy efficiency, and quiet operation. The pump has a series of safeguards that prevent it from burning out. These safeguards react to a lack of water and rotor blockage, shutting down the pump's operation. In such events, the safeguards protect the pump from failure.
