First of all, the set is integrated. This means that all stages of filtration, the pump, UV lamp, and fountain nozzle are in one unit. The water filtration system is based on three stages. It provides biological filtration, which means the breakdown of harmful substances through the action of bacteria, as well as dual mechanical filtration, which filters out impurities from the water. Additionally, the system is equipped with a UV-C sterilizer. Water sterilization through UV light effectively kills all kinds of viruses, fungi, and most importantly, algae spores, ensuring impeccably clean water.

How to install Crystal Lake in a pond?
Just place the filter at the bottom of the tank. The long telescopic arm of the fountain is enough to extend it above the water surface. Do you have an uneven bottom? No problem! The fountain nozzle is mounted on a ball joint to allow for vertical positioning of the fountain.
Filtration stages and water circulation in short:
1. Right from the start, the large perforated basket/filter housing filters out larger impurities such as leaves or plant debris.
2. Just below the basket is the filter cartridge, responsible for breaking down harmful substances through the action of beneficial bacteria.
3. Next, the water is mechanically filtered using a large sponge.
4. The next stage is water sterilization using a UV-C lamp.
5. The water is again filtered through a sponge of smaller gradation.
6. Through the flow control insert, the water stream is directed to the pump.
7. The pump directly injects water, under high pressure, to the fountain nozzle.

Pump, aeration, and performance regulation:
The pump included in the set has been designed using the latest technologies and made from top-quality materials, which allows for the creation of an exceptionally energy-efficient pump with substantial performance. The pump features quiet operation and reliability.
The pump's performance is adjustable from 10% to 100% power using a knob located on the pump housing.
You can additionally aerate the water by connecting a 6mm hose to the port located on the performance knob. Note: the hose is not part of the set.

Fountain and hose tee:
Completing the excellent filtration set is the multifunctional fountain. It features three different outlet nozzles with unique capabilities that allow for the creation of various shapes of water fountains.
You can use the tee to direct the water flow to, for example, the fountain and the water cascade or just to the cascade. The tee has smooth dual flow regulation, so the user can determine how much water goes to the waterfall and how much to the fountain.
The fountain outlet allows for adjusting the length of the fountain nozzle (28 - 42cm) and the fountain nozzle is mounted on a ball joint, allowing for positioning the fountain at an angle.
