The choice of salmon as one of the main ingredients is justified:
- A healthy cat's diet requires quality protein and good fats, and salmon meets both criteria. Fish oils are an excellent source of unsaturated fatty acids, which are helpful in maintaining brain function, good eyesight, and a shiny coat.
- Unsaturated fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties.
- Fish provide pets with magnesium (responsible m.in. for strong bones and muscles) and iodine (which supports thyroid function).
