Aquaforest Purifying Resin 250ml

Specialized ion-exchange resin intended for use in freshwater aquariums. Dedicated primarily to overstocked aquariums struggling with high nitrate levels. It serves for the chemical absorption of nitrogen compounds dissolved in water. It works selectively, effectively absorbing nitrates from the water without affecting the levels of essential life-sustaining minerals. It removes harmful compounds for fish, allows for a reduction in water change frequency, and prevents algae growth.

Dosing:
125 ml is sufficient to purify 400 l of water. Place the resin in a fine mesh filter bag, and then put it in the filter basket, ensuring a constant water flow. The consumption of the product is indicated by a change in the product's color to dark brown. At that point, the cartridge should be replaced or regenerated. Regeneration can be performed using bleach containing chlorine. Regeneration should be carried out in a 50% bleach solution for about 6 hours. Afterward, rinse the cartridge very thoroughly and leave it in clean water for about 24 hours.
