What if my reptile eats sand continuously?
The animal is not in danger. However, constant nibbling on sand may indicate signs of calcium deficiency. In such cases, the breeder should increase the calcium dose or change the UVB lighting.

How to clean the substrate and when to replace it?
The sand should be spot cleaned in case of soiling. For sifting, we recommend the Repti-Zoo Sand Scoope. The substrate should be completely replaced at least every 12 months.
