Description
Nitrites are a toxic nitrogen compound that occurs when there is a disturbed bacterial balance or when setting up a new aquarium. The test accurately determines the level of nitrite content in the water.
This test allows for the examination of nitrite (NO2) concentration in aquarium water. It is essential when fertilizing the tank with various types of fertilizers. High levels of nitrates can be dangerous for fish, and both deficiency and excess can harm plants. Based on the test results, we can adjust the appropriate doses of fertilizers.
Recommended nitrite values:
- Freshwater aquarium (multi-species aquarium): 0-0.2 mg/l
- Malawi/Tanganyika Lake aquarium: 0-0.2 mg/l
- Aquariums with vegetation and a small number of fish (Aquascaping): 0-0.2 mg/l
- Marine aquariums: 0-0.2 mg/l
- Garden ponds: 0-0.2 mg/l
