AF Phosphate TestPro is designed for the rapid measurement of phosphate ion concentrations in marine aquariums. Phosphates are a nutrient for the growth of undesirable algae, which is why it is very important to continuously monitor their concentration in marine tanks. Additionally, high concentrations of phosphates are harmful to corals. The level of phosphates in a marine aquarium should not exceed 0.02 mg/l (ppm). The test is sufficient for 40 measurements of phosphate concentration.
