Unusual play encourages thinking:
This ball cannot be bitten! Usually, the dog snaps its mouth and the fun is over (this imitates hunting and killing; the play scenario ends with the pretend "death" of the victim). In this case, the dog has to struggle and think about what to do with a ball that can't be caught in its mouth. It will roll it, push it with its nose and paws, block its path, try to hold it with its paws in order to bite it, and so on...
Floating:
The ball floats wonderfully and cannot be sunk. You can throw it into the water. The dog will have a blast pushing it back to the shore. One thing is for sure: after such play, the dog will sleep for a long time :)
