Octo Regal 150-INT - protein skimmer

The Regal OCTO series internal protein skimmer (Regal-INT) features a high-quality acrylic body construction, easy disassembly for maintenance, a precise adjustable gate, and a hybrid conical body that helps to naturally stabilize and concentrate the foam rich in organic substances during the lift.

Regal-INT is powered by its own adjustable VarioS skimmer pump, equipped with a gear wheel impeller, a detachable controller, a high-quality ceramic shaft, and a bearing that reduces wear, along with the latest variable flow speed technology providing precise control, increased efficiency, energy savings, and operational safety.

Unlike most circulation pumps that use alternating current (AC), the VarioS pump has several key advantages over traditional AC pumps, namely higher energy efficiency, safer operation at a working voltage of 24 V, and, most importantly, variable speed adjustment to tailor the ideal mixture of air and water flowing to the skimmer.
