EXO TERRA Tropical Forest Floor - two-layer substrate for terrarium

Exo Terra Tropical Forest Floor is a multi-layer substrate that allows you to recreate the forest floor found in natural tropical forests. The forest floor is one of the most characteristic features of tropical forest ecosystems.

It usually consists of two main layers:
1. The upper layer, mainly consisting of mosses and lichens
2. The base layer made of rich organic matter - usually decomposed leaves and wood.

Portion of natural moss 
The upper layer consists of sun-dried natural green moss sourced from renewable sources. This decorative top layer creates a soft bedding similar to that found in natural tropical forests.

Portion of coconut fiber 
The base layer is made from rich organic matter derived from durable fibers from coconut husks. It is a 100% natural, eco-friendly, and biodegradable substrate with excellent hygroscopic properties. This layer of substrate is ideal for creating natural plant terrariums for reptiles, amphibians, and moisture-loving invertebrates.

Instructions for use:
Spread a 5-10 cm layer of substrate on the bottom of the terrarium. Water or mist the substrate depending on the required level of humidity. Place decorative elements in the terrarium, and then cover the floor with a top layer of decorative natural green moss.
