Description
High quality tested in practice
The Aquario Professional reducer is a top-quality product, designed from scratch specifically for aquarium needs. It is characterized by exceptional precision in CO2 dosing and a design that utilizes solutions proven in practice. The reducer includes built-in: bubble counter, precision valve, check valve, and solenoid valve, which are the most important elements of the CO2 set.
Two gauges indicate the key parameters of the CO2 system: the pressure inside the cylinder and the working pressure of the reducer. This makes it easy to predict the gas consumption in the cylinder and to read the level of pressure reduction. The reducer is made from a metal alloy meeting the highest technical requirements, while also ensuring great durability and reliability of its components. This device provides 100% tightness and high precision in gas dosing.
Solenoid Valve
The solenoid valve connected to a timer / pH computer will automatically turn on/off the CO2 supply. Such dosing ensures a safe level of CO2 in the water - mainly at night, when plants do not absorb carbon and the pH itself drops.
Drop Checker - constant CO2 test
Aquario Drop Checker (a glass permanent CO2 test) which is placed in the aquarium, continuously monitors the level of carbon dioxide content in the water and signals this by changing color.
Glass diffuser made of high-grade glass
The Nano glass CO2 diffuser made from high-grade laboratory glass, with a ceramic sinter. Thanks to the use of microporous ceramic sinter, it effectively dissolves carbon dioxide in aquarium water. The diffusers, unlike others on the market, disperse gas across their entire surface, which translates to better dissolution of carbon dioxide in the water and less loss.
Easy installation
In the box, we also find a handy key with which we can easily tighten the reducer to the CO2 cylinder.
Tips and questions about Aquario CO2 sets:
- Is the set safe?
The set is completely safe and can be used without any concerns anywhere in our home. The cylinder contains the same CO2 gas as in everyday beverages like water or orangeade. As long as the cylinder is not thrown into the fire, it is 100% safe.
- What is the height of the cylinder with the reducer?
The total height of the cylinder with the installed reducer is 48cm for a 2l cylinder and 59cm for a 5l cylinder respectively.
- Does the set include all necessary components?
Yes, the set includes everything necessary to start up the whole system, even the key to tighten the reducer to the cylinder :)
- Do I need to additionally seal the thread between the cylinder and the reducer?
No, the reducer is equipped with an appropriate seal and there is no need to use additional sealing.
- How long does the cylinder last?
Depending on the size of the aquarium and the amount of gas supplied, the cylinder lasts from 3 months (for very large aquariums) to even 12 months (for small tanks).
- How long is the warranty?
The warranty period is 24 months.
- Can the cylinders be refilled?
Yes, the cylinders can be refilled multiple times throughout their legalization period, which lasts for 10 subsequent years.
- Do I need an additional check valve?
No, the check valve is built into the aluminum bubble counter and is included in the set.
- Is carbon dioxide safe for the inhabitants of my aquarium?
Yes, but as with everything, only in the right doses. It is important to remember that carbon dioxide lowers the pH of the aquarium water, and using this parameter, we are able to adjust the optimal dosing of carbon dioxide.
- How much CO2 should I supply to my aquarium?
Initially, we recommend starting with 1 bubble per second and observing pH changes. If the pH remains unchanged, you can increase the dosing until the desired level is reached.
- Will I be able to handle the assembly?
There will be no problem with that. The entire assembly takes no more than 10 minutes. All our work will be limited to screwing the reducer to the cylinder, filling the bubble counter with water, attaching the hose to the reducer, and inserting the diffuser into the aquarium.
In the box with the kit we will find:
1. Co2 BLUE Aquario reducer with solenoid valve
2. Co2 Diffuser
3. Drop Checker
4. Hose (3m)
5. CO2 Cylinder
6. Wrench for tightening the reducer
