Sintering of ceramic fibers (not to be confused with typical ceramic sintering): Instead of traditional firing of the ceramic mass, which creates standard sintering, Chihiros Diffuser uses an electromagnetic pulse process. This forms ceramic fibers, which are then sintered and fired under high pressure. The result is micropores with a significantly smaller diameter and higher density than in traditional sinters. Such ceramic fibers are not only more compact but also more durable and resistant to damage.
