Description
CO2 diffusers should ensure effective gas solubility, be resistant to damage (unlike glass ones), and be aesthetically pleasing (unlike plastic ones). It is also important that they are available in various sizes and are reasonably priced. Is there a diffuser that meets these criteria?
On the market, you can find many models that only meet some of these requirements. For example, glass diffusers with ceramics offer good solubility and an attractive appearance, but they are fragile and expensive. On the other hand, plastic ones are durable and effective, but their aesthetics leave much to be desired and they are often costly. So what is the answer to the above dilemmas?
The answer is Chihiros Diffuser. Why is it unique?
Here are a few reasons:
Sintering of ceramic fibers (not to be confused with typical ceramic sintering): Instead of traditional firing of the ceramic mass, which creates a standard sinter, the Chihiros Diffuser uses an electromagnetic impulse process. This forms ceramic fibers, which are then sintered and subjected to high-pressure firing. The result is micropores with a significantly smaller diameter and higher density than in traditional sinters. Such ceramic fibers are not only more compact but also more durable and resistant to damage.
Compact dimensions: Thanks to the use of advanced fibrous sintering technology, the Chihiros Diffuser allows for the use of a smaller diffuser with the same efficiency. While it is aesthetic, it does not dominate the plants that should be the main decoration of the aquarium.
Acrylic body: The acrylic body of the diffuser is not inferior in aesthetics to glass but is significantly more durable. It maintains excellent clarity, making the diffuser almost invisible in the aquarium. Additionally, it allows for the observation of the bubble counter placed inside.
