Neo Diffuser Extended Special M - elbow and acrylic ceramic diffuser 17mm
New line of innovative CO2 diffusers Neo Diffuser Extended Special. They possess four crucial features that set them far above competing diffusers. 1. excellent CO2 solubility thanks to micro-bubbles generated by ceramic fiber, 2. indestructibility, as the entire unit is made of acrylic, 3. great aesthetics of craftsmanship, 4. Make a bend with the long diffuser tube wherever you want.

Description
CO2 diffusers should provide the best gas solubility, they should not be brittle, meaning easy to break (like glass ones), and they should be "not ugly" (like plastic ones). It would also be good if they were not too expensive and if they came in different sizes to choose the right one for the aquarium. Which diffuser meets all these criteria?
In the offers, we find many models that meet one, maybe at most two of the above-mentioned features. For example: glass with ceramic - dissolves well (but not always) and definitely looks nice, but is very brittle and expensive. Another one: plastic - usually dissolves well and cannot be destroyed - but they are ugly and also expensive. What to choose in this situation?
The only answer to these questions and the only diffuser on the market that meets all the expectations of an aquarist is the Neo Diffuser. Why? More on that below. It's worth reading because this is not just another silly advertisement.
Ceramic fiber sinter (not to be confused with ceramic sinter):
The ceramic mass is fired, and then small channels are created - this is how standard ceramic sinter is made. What is ceramic fiber sinter?
The ceramic mass is subjected to a high electromagnetic impulse, which forms fibers. They are then sintered, later formed into a sinter under high pressure, and fired again.
Thanks to this treatment, micro pores with a much smaller diameter and a far greater quantity are created compared to regular sinter. Fiber sinter is not only much denser but also harder and more durable than ordinary sinter. It does not "wear out" over time and does not crack.
Micro sizes:
A natural consequence of the innovative fiber sinter is the ability to use a smaller diffuser in a given aquarium.
Previously, it was assumed that, for example, a diffuser with a diameter of 2 cm is intended for an aquarium of 150 - 200 liters, while the Neo Diffuser with a diameter of 1.7 cm serves aquariums up to 250 liters.
Indeed, the Neo diffuser is nice. But it is not the diffusers, but the plants that should be the decoration of the aquarium. Therefore, smaller diffuser sizes positively affect the aesthetics of the aquarium.
Acrylic body:
Just as beautiful as glass. 100% transparent and aesthetic, but unlike glass, it is unbreakable. Acrylic provides excellent transparency, making the diffuser practically invisible in the tank and allowing the use of the bubble counter mounted inside.
Curved diffuser tube - a tube/elbow at the edge of the glass:
This has never been done before! With the help of thermal processing (i.e., fire from a lighter), you can bend the diffuser tube into an elbow. Thus, you will determine the thickness of the glass and the position of the elbow relative to the length of the tube. You've never done this before, right? No problem, the set includes two additional tubes for you to practice.
Included in the set:
Along with the diffuser, you will receive two large suction cups with a hole for the diffuser tube and a set for practicing bending the tube.
Technical data and purpose:
- for aquarium: from 100l to 250l
- diameter of the sinter: 17mm
- total height: 40cm (you can cut or bend the diffuser tube wherever you want)
- for a hose: standard 6mm (4/6)
Usage:
1. Soak in water for 10 minutes before first use.
2. Insert the protective brush into the tube, heat the tube with fire from a lighter until it bends. Shape the elbow according to your needs.
3. If the diffuser loses efficiency after some time - soak the diffuser in bleach for 5 minutes, and it will be like new.
