Cascade filters have been designed for optimal filtration through a large volume. At the same time, the design of the filter allows it to be placed outside the tank, thus saving space in the aquarium, and the water return through the cascade effectively aerates the water in the aquarium. The filter features three-stage filtration, involving the operation of three different filter media. Each media has a separate specially dedicated place, and the loose media is housed in a container - basket. The filter media have a special "drawer" with a handle, which allows for quick removal from the filter.

Biological filtration is provided by bio-ceramic balls of varying porosity. The balls serve as a habitat for bacteria that reduce the concentrations of NH3, NH4, and NO2 in the aquarium, while also positively affecting the health of the fish and providing a natural nutrient source for plants.

Chemical filtration is ensured by activated carbon, which effectively binds metals and their compounds, humic substances, pesticides, and metabolic byproducts. It acts as a clarifying agent for the water and reduces unpleasant odors. It improves water quality, including biological filtration.

Mechanical filtration is provided by a sponge with the appropriate gradation. It removes all impurities from the water, clarifying it of dust, plant debris, or small floating substrate particles.

The media baskets can accommodate any filter media depending on the needs of the tank.


The water inlet to the filter is facilitated by two tubes with different applications. The lower tube draws water from the closest possible vicinity of the bottom. This way, the filter sucks up impurities that settle on the bottom, which are a common cause of sediment buildup and deterioration in water quality. The second inlet is partially above the water surface - commonly referred to as a surface skimmer. It draws water directly from the water's surface, removing any floating debris and proteins that appear to the naked eye as greasy spots. This exceptionally unattractive film is highly detrimental to health and water quality, thus a filter that neutralizes it ensures the best and complete quality of water filtration.
The filter features smooth, stepless flow regulation, thereby adjusting the output. This regulation allows the filter to be adapted to aquariums from 38 to 115 liters in capacity.
An additional flow regulation is placed on the skimmer tube, which allows for easy adjustment of the performance level of this inlet along with the lower inlet from 0% to 100% flow.

The telescopic lower water inlet and special base allow for easy and quick installation of the device in any aquarium, regardless of the height of the tank or the thickness of the glass it is made from.
