The SMX Streamax series of cascade filters from the Resun Aqua Syncro brand is designed for simplicity of maintenance and operation. The filter has special cartridges that ensure biological, mechanical, and chemical filtration. The cartridges placed in the filter, which are included in the set, can be removed for replacement. This process is extremely simple and will not pose any problems for anyone.

The most important feature of the Streamax filter is a special sensor that informs the user about the need to replace the used filter cartridges - cartridges are available for purchase. This solution greatly facilitates the operation of the filter, as it does not require regular cleanliness checks conducted by the user, but rather informs about the need for maintenance. Biological filtration is provided by a cartridge with high porosity. The cartridge serves as a habitat for bacteria that reduce the concentration of NH3, NH4, and NO2 in the aquarium, simultaneously influencing the health of the fish and providing a natural nutrient for plants.
