- Double sponge pre-filter: Instead of a classic water intake tube, the filter is equipped with modular double baskets filled with aquarium sponge, effectively mechanically filtering and supporting water cleanliness right from the start.
- Advanced filtration system: In addition to the preliminary filtration, the filter has two more chambers. The first chamber, which comes factory-filled with micro-fiber, can be independently filled with various biological or chemical media if needed for your aquarium. The next stage of filtration is another chamber where you will find plenty of space for necessary media; additionally, the manufacturer typically places a substantial cartridge with a fleece coat filled with activated carbon in it. This is the final stage of filtration - mechanical and chemical. In summary: you have two baskets in the pre-filter already filled with sponge inside and two more chambers for biological and chemical filtration with fleece and a cartridge with fleece and activated carbon available.
